A celebration of spontaneity ‘Out of the blue’ is a new exhibition inspired by Australia’s unique landscape. These paintings, photographs and sculptures are grounded in the sensory experience of place, both seen and felt. These sights and sounds are given form, colour and life extending well beyond the traditional definitions of the genre.
This exhibition contemplates the impossibility of truly representing the landscape – with its vast pluralities of past, present, future. Instead these works celebrate the moments of inspiration the landscape has to offer.
