For those in Melbourne Fox’s new monograph ‘Cultivate’ will be showcased at the MABF for Manic books at the National Gallery of Victoria from the 14th to 17th May 2026. The Melbourne Art Book Fair brings together local and international publishers, artists, and designers, fostering exchange, collaboration, and a shared appreciation for printed matter in all its forms. Established by the NGV in 2015, the Fair emerged in response to a growing global network of art book fairs in creative hubs such as New York and Los Angeles. Building on Melbourne’s designation as a UNESCO City of Literature in 2008, it continues to highlight the city’s vibrant art publishing landscape and the communities that sustain it.
In May 2026, Melbourne Art Book Fair celebrates its twelfth edition. The upcoming program will introduce new voices in art publishing and design, whilst continuing to collaborate with longstanding contributors. The popular Stallholder Fair will also make a return to NGV’s Great Hall across the opening weekend (15–17 May), offering visitors the opportunity to engage with and collect unique publications from leading local and international practitioners.
