Belinda is thrilled to invite you to Abundance, a solo show opening on the 8th August with Arthouse Gallery, NSW and book launch for Cultivate. Featuring lush new paintings, intriguing glass work made with the JAM factory, and unique prints to compliment the new monograph ‘Cultivate’.
Fox says ‘These paintings grew from time spent wandering the Heide gardens. The more slowly I looked, the more the garden revealed itself, not as a collection of plants, but as an ever-changing conversation between growth, decay and renewal.’
When asked about the new glass works, she said ‘The seeds and pods within these vessels represent more than future plants. They speak of knowledge generously shared. Through conversations with Heide’s head gardener, Tom, I came to see that the exchange of seeds, stories and experience is part of the living culture of this place—a quiet continuation of the generosity that has long shaped Heide.’
